You Are My All In All
Arrangement for 4-octave handbell/handchime quartet or ensemble
The cherished worship song by Dennis L. Jernigan reminds us to surrender and rest in God’s presence. This handbell setting features upper register handchimes and singing bell, giving it a contemplitive nature perfect for church or performance settings.

In a Foreign Land
Choir and Alto Flute (optional)
The question “How can we sing the LORD’s song in a foreign land?” from Psalm 137 struck me during the Covid-19 pandemic as I felt the impact on corporate worship. It expresses both lament and hope, reminding us that God can teach us new ways to worship in any circumstance.

Locrian Tango
Solo Piano
This tango is written in the mysterious and under-utilized Locrian mode. With a diminished chord being built from the tonic note, the piece has elusive harmony and an intense and melancholic character. This can be used as a study for students in both modal theory and tango rhythms.

Tango in The Desert
Solo Piano
This grandiose and passionate tango represents travelling through the desert with the intense sun scorching down and the rocking footsteps of camels. Finally an oasis is spotted, but slowly the realization creeps in that it is only a mirage, and the walk feels only more taxing.
